DLO "Probability"

Walt: Before the probability of an event can be worked out, all of the possible outcomes needed to be known.

Example: Kasha went to dinner with her family
              - She had to choose a main course and a dessert.

- Main -

  • Spicy Chicken (S)
  • Beef burger (B)
  • Vegetarian (V)

- Desserts -
  • Ice cream Sundae (I)
  • Apple crumble (A)
Now I just need to figure out the possibilities, I organize them in three seperaate ways.

- List -

SI, SA,
BI, BA,
VI, VA,

- Table -

Spicy chicken (S)
Beef Burger (B)
Vegetarian Pizza (V)
Ice Cream Sundae (I)
SI
BI
VI
Apple Crumble (A)
SA
BA
VA

That's the three ways to figure out the outcomes before the probability event.

  1. Hi Reige, this is an awesome DLO!I like the way that you have clearly explained the question and then broken it down into all the ways that you could work out the answer! I also like that you have given clear simple diagrams showing what you are doing. Keep up the amazing work!
