The four sphere of earth [Draft]

Did you know that we have four sphere? Ill tell you the names first Geosphere, Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, and the last one is Biosphere. The four sphere - they keep the earth what it is, the four sphere are all of the things in earth. In this draft i'm going to tell you how they effect earth and how they interact with each other.

First - Geosphere

This is what I know about the Geosphere, Its the layers of inside of earth, its underground, and its protects earth core. Did you know that Geosphere is all about not living things, The Geosphere It's like the skeleton of earth, and the lava and inner core are made of iron and nickel. they effect earth by protecting the earth core and the mountains are part of geosphere too. If we don't have geosphere the earth will be only a meteor and the people have nowhere to live on. This is how the geosphere interact with the other sphere, Hydrosphere causes erosion of geosphere through running water and precipitation. Biosphere breaks down rock of the geosphere (plant roots), but when it comes to soil, minerals of the geosphere feed the plants. Biosphere and atmosphere interact through animal and plant respiration of oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Second - Atmosphere

Second I will tell you that I already know about the atmosphere, atmosphere is the space layers of earth or air layers of earth, who protects us from the sun, and the atmosphere has the ozone layer. Did you know there are four other sphere in the atmosphere and what they have, there are - tropoSphere 4- 10 miles wide, StratoSphere 30-35miles wide, mesoSphere 50 miles wide, thermoSphere 400 miles wide, and exoSphere 6200 miles wide. Thermosphere has Ionosphere and where you find electrical, at Mesosphere this is where the meteor got burn up, and Ionosphere helps transfer radio waves.
This is how did they interact with each other, Plants (biosphere) draw water (hydrosphere) and nutrients from the soil (geosphere) and release water vapor into the atmosphere.

Third - Hydrosphere

Now I'm going to tell you what I know about hydrosphere Its all about water, and people need water to survive. Did you know that earth is cover with water around 70%, 97% of water is salty and 3% of water is fresh. Some water is made of rocks and snowflakes, if the water have  more salt is heavier and less salt is lighter, and there's a name in all water forms. If water haven’t got absorb it will go down in earth and water is always moving and water is always in the air.
This is how did they interact with each other, Plants (biosphere) draw water (hydrosphere) and nutrients from the soil (geosphere) and release water vapor into the atmosphere.

Fourt - Biosphere

At last I'm going to tell you about the Biosphere. Biosphere is all about living things, animals, trees, plants, and people. Did you know the Biosphere can heal itself and the humans is affecting the Biosphere. Plants (biosphere) draw water (hydrosphere) and nutrients from the soil (geosphere) and release water vapor into the atmosphere

Happy Birthday? - DRAFT

Happy Birthday?
Huh…., I’m bored playing video games all day I thought to myself. At the weekend I always play video games and was bored of video games. So, I asked my Dad if we could go and do something somewhere, as I was really bored.  He thought to himself and said he has the perfect idea, we quickly got changed and ready to leave. I asked my Dad “Where are we going?” I said. He then replied  “We're going to a birthday party”.

When we’re going inside the car something was bugging me about something. I realise  we didn’t have a present for the birthday party, I didn’t tell my Mum and Dad that we didn’t have a present for the birthday party, they didn’t even notice it. Finally we arrived at my Mum’s friend house? I ask Mum “Why are we in your friend house?” Confusedly ask, she didn’t hear it what I said. I kindly say hello to my friends and say happy birthday to the, (wait!) who’s birthday is it?

While I’m solving that, I didn’t even notice the beautiful food it looks delicious and smell delicious too. So i rapidly grab a plate and a spoon so I can eat it while it's hot. “YUM!!!” Hmpp, I heard someone saying it to me I don’t know who it was, as soon as I realise it was the other visitors. I literally disturb them, I didn’t even know I was disturbing them, I talk back to them “ I really sorry about my behaviour, I said that like and scaredy-cat.

I continue eating my food and then someone brought an ice-cream for kids but its only for kids but i'm not a kid, so I planed to get an ice-cream. This is my plan, if the parents look away or talk to each other I will quickly grap a spoon out of the ice-cream box and sneak out, and outside. After I ate my stole ice-cream I play with the kids inside the room, we played tag an hide and seek.

Light on your hands

             Science experiment headings
This is a list of seven headings that are used in scientific experiments.

Aim- Allows people who read it to understand what the experiment is about.

Hypothesis- An educated guess of what you think will happen.

Equipment- The materials required for the experiment.

Method- Step by step instructions detailing exactly how it will be carried out.

Results- The data found from the investigation.

Discussions- This is where you would discuss your findings.

Conclusion- Interpret the results. It is here you would outline whether or not.

Aim; To listen to the teachers instructions while using safe practice in the science lab.

Hypothesis: There will be flames coming from your hands.

Equipment:
1. Bunsen burner tube
2. Gas
3. Detergent
4. Water
Method:
  1. Put some water into a container and squirt in some detergent.
  2. Connect the gas hose to the taps and make a gas bubbles in the water.
  3. Rub cold water on your hands, wrist and up to your elbows.
  4. Scoop up the bubbles in the container into the palm of your cupped hands.
  5. stand with your hands reaching out in front of you, with your palms and bubbles facing up.
  6. Light your hands.
  7. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!.
Safety: If you want to stop the fire you can open your palms and drop the fire on the floor

Results: The hands of the person burst into flames without burning their hands.

Discussion: The gas in the bubbles burned.

Conclusion: The safety glasses and equipment like water on your wrists stopped anyone from getting burnt. By listening to the teachers instructions the method was clear.

Forensic

1. What is the definition of forensic? Its a relating to or denoting the application of scientific methods and techniques to the investigation of crime.
2. Name 5 different kinds of activities used in forensic, Science and find a for each.

Aim: to find what is my finger print
Method: I used saly tape, pencil and paper
Results: Whorl
Discussion: I have whorl finger prints

THE FEET CAN MEASURE THE HEIGHT

The bones of the feet can tell a lot about a person. What do feet reveal about a person's height? Forensic anthropologists team up with law enforcers to help solve crimes.
Bones of the feet can reveal an interesting fact about an individual. Let's combine math with forensics to see how.

Image result for foot to height ratio chart

Create a spreadsheet.
Make a chart and list the individuals name, height, and foot length.

Names                             Foot size                             Height

Reige                               24.2cm                                 1.56    = 15.3%

Daniel                              24.8cm                                 1.60    = 2.0%

Greg                                22cm                                    1.39     = 15.8%

Brielle                             20cm                                     1.48    = 13.5%

Activity: Scientific Method: Use the scientific method to write up this experiment.
  1.  Aim: Base on someone feet size we can measure their height.
  2.  Hypothesis: A rough estimate of our height.
  3.  Method:
Have the students in your group remove their shoes and measure their height.
Measure the length of the adult's left foot from the wall to the tip of the big toe.
Examine the numbers. Do you see a pattern? Divide the length of each person's left foot by his/her height. Multiply the quotient by 100. What do you get? You may also want to use the calculator on a computer for this activity
  1. Equipment: 1 metre ruler, 30cm ruler, and calculator
  2. Results: I found out that my height is 156cm and the size of my foot is 24cm.
  3. Summary: The police investigator and forensic scientists use 15% of a persons foot length is equal to their height.
  4. Conclusion: By knowing what a persons foot size is we can determine their approximate height.

What is the white powder?

White powder test?

A forensic scientist may discover powder at a crime scene. In order to determine if it is illegal or not the crime lab will identify the substance using chemistry. Take on the role of a forensic chemist to identify unknown substances.

Become a Forensic Chemist by following these procedures and filling in the Powder Analysis Chart with your results.
Complete the appearance, texture, and smell activities before opening the vinegar and iodine bottles.

Record your findings in the Powder Analysis Chart below.

Aim: To determine how different powders feel, look and react to other substances.

Hypothesis: It will dissolve

Equipment:
 Baking Soda

Cornflour

Sugar

Salt

Iodine

Vinegar

Magnifying glass

Eye drop

Black card

Tea spoon / stick

Method:

  1. Place one-fourth teaspoon (1 ml) of the four white powders on a sheet of black construction paper. Label the powders with your pen.
  2. Study the powders with the magnifying glass. Examine what each powder looks like. How would you describe the powder's shape. Does it have large or small grains? Your observations should be written in the appearance column of the chart.
  3. Examine the powders further by rubbing each powder between your fingers. Describe how each powder feels in the Texture column of the chart.
  4. Determine if there is a smell to any of the powders. Record your findings in the Smell column of the chart.
  5. Take the eyedropper and place a drop of water on each individual powder. Examine what happens? Do the powders dissolve? Is there a reaction? Write your observations in the Reaction to Water column.
  6. Place one-half teaspoon (2ml) of each powder in a separate jar. Add 2 drops of iodine to each jar using the eyedropper. Record what happens in the Reaction to Iodine column. Iodine should be handled with care.
Findings:

Solve the crime

The case of the Barefoot Burglar

http://www.cyberbee.com/whodunnit/crimescene.html

In groups of 4 or five you are going to need to use your forensic knowledge to solve a crime.
Using the clues found at the crime scene, determine which of the four suspects is the "barefooted burglar"?
What do you think was the motive for this crime?
Write the results of your findings and convince a jury of your peers.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., Friday morning, Mrs. King, the science teacher, thought something was fishy as she walked down the hall and noticed that her door was open. She walked into her classroom and immediately discovered that the small aquarium had been broken and her prized gold fish were gasping in the sink. Beside the broken aquarium were the shattered remains of the pink piggy bank that had been on the shelf above the aquarium. A can of blue paint was spilled on the floor. Footprints of a barefooted burglar led to an open window. Bits of a white powdery substance were found next to the broken, empty, piggy bank. The only other item found was a half-eaten large chunk of chocolate candy.

When the police arrived they immediately began to gather forensic evidence.
  • Sticky fingerprints were lifted from the aquarium and piggy bank. The painted footprints were measured. The chunk of chocolate candy was collected for examination. It appeared there were teeth imprints.
  • The white powdery substance by the piggy bank was carefully placed in a plastic bag and taken to the forensic chemist for identification .
