What isntrument are you playing and why?
- I will be playing piano and since this is the most familiar instrument for me it will be more easier to overcome any obstacles along the way.

Which have you chosen to perform and why?
- The song I've chosen is "Faded" by Alan Walker. I chose this song because this has been one of my favourites since I was a young teenager. Link to this video.

What type of assesment are you doing and why?
- I will be doing the option cause this is the path that will take me to improvement.

Music Group Performance, Reflection

1. What insturment did you learn and why?
- I choosen the instrument called piano to learn. It is the most familiar instrument for me.

2. What song did you chose to learn and why?
- My group did the song called, another one bites the dust. The reason behind this is, because everyone in ourgroup knows the song and this is the easiest song that we could do.

3.  What was challenging about this piece and how did you overcome the challenges?
- The challenge was getting in sync with each other. We overcomed this problem by practicing with each other.

4.Were you happy with your final recording/performance? why?
- Yes, since we tried our absoloute best.

5. What would you change about your performance if you could do it again?
- The thing I would change about my performance is to add more song. Since the song that we did was kinda short.

6. Were you happy with your overall grade and why?
- Yes I am, since last time I think I also got merit.

7. What have you enjoyed about Music this semester?
- The group performances and learning new songs.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre

This type of musical genre mixes with a lot of music, songs, spoken words and dances.
Putting this all together they always tell a story.
Most musical genre is based on famous stories like Romeo and
Juliet or the Phantom of the Opera.

Three main parts of musical theatre:
- The music
- The lyrics inside of it.
- Book,meaning the story and the spoken words.

Group Performance - Mystery Genre -

The topic that we're doing this term is a picking a random genre from a hat. This game is called Mystery Genre Performance. One by one, the groups pick and lastly we got to pick. Our group leader (Greg) picked the card, we got a disco genre, it is a new challenge to us.

Disco genre - Dance music and a subculture type.

We needed to research a disco music. The song that we are going to is 'Another one bites the dust". There is also a new person in our band, he will be playing base. Our leader will be doing the drums and our most skilled guitarists will be doing guitar, our tallest person will be doing the higher note keys and i will be doing the lower note keys.. Our goal for this is to practice it together and do our own parts.

Today is the first period of music! Even we would mostly sit in this week of music, i am looking forward to the rest of time in music.

- Ed Sheeran - Ed Sheeran is a singer and a pianist, I would like to be like him someday.

The instrument that I play is the piano, I have been practicing piano for 2 years.

Today at our music class we studied how to use a guitar. We first given a sheet and got to know two chords. The most challenging to use a guitar for me is moving fast from a chord to a chord. Today music class was amazing but some people ruined it.
