Restart.. Mathletics!
This week for maths we get to do mathletics that will eventually help people from other countries to get better education. Every 250,000 points in mathletics is 1 dollar that the Mathletics donate to the people in Africa. We had to complete a series of task including things that were not familiar. We eventually got this barricaded problems with the help of our teacher. We each earned a thousand points for the contribution.

My kind of music
Today is the first period of music! Even we would mostly sit in this week of music, i am looking forward to the rest of time in music.
My favourite singers/Band

Definition of a music genre:
A category that identifies different kinds of music.
The Slave triangle
This is my diagram example of the 'Slave Triangle'.
This diagram shows how many travels and how far they travelled to get/buy slaves.
They exchanges many materials for having slaves. In the late 1400's Portuguese sailed to Africa in search for gold. During the searching of gold, they captured many indigenous people in the process. After that they went to other countries to trade materials for the indigenous people.

I am learning to narrow my focus by extending my vocabulary on Critical Literacy. By extending my vocabulary I learned what is the meaning of the words and putting the meaning beside them is my way of showing that I know them. I am wondering about how many words should I study to be able to met the expectations of the teacher.
Example of the words in a sentence.
An example of a text is a newspaper.
There is a construction site down the block.
I have a presentation to make.
Judging asian people by their looks is a stereotype.
The inclusion of many countries on using human rights is fair.
Many exclusion happens because the imbalance of power.
You don't need to judge if someone is being masculine or feminine.

The 30 Human rights!
This social study topic taught me that some people might use their human rights to do something bad and good. I am learning the different types of human rights. The most interesting human rights to me was the right to equality. This work lists all the human rights and links to our topic because it explains how people from lower classes can be the same as everyone else's.

A recent news item that interest me
The infamous coronavirus!
The world trembles with the entrance of coronavirus. This coronavirus is becoming an epidemic in China. The virus mainly causes respiratory illnesses similar to the common cold. It was first identified in the mid-1960's. Many Chinese like to eat exotics foods, including bats, snakes and other animals. Many people think that the disease originated from eating infected bats. The disease then became transmittable between humans. A major number of scientists are trying to figure where this disease truly came from, through the knowledge of science. People all over the world wait for the research to be done.
This news spread alarmingly fast and eventually reached me. This report made me anxious and the community that surrounds me was impacted in the same way. It hooked me by its catastrophic after effects. Some people have already been in the hospital because of its symptoms.
Different kinds of news creates differents kinds of moods: worry, nervousness, fear etc. However, this particular news made me worried. This made me research its whereabouts and its symptoms, taking every bit of information so I would not be affected by it. Without any hesitation, I told my family about how to remain healthy and avoid this disease.
With the current situation, you can avoid this by washing your hands everyday and staying healthy.

Today at English we were manage to know our weaknesses and strengths. Our teacher decided to make us a goal to make 1 of our weaknesses become our strength.
I thought to myself of how I would make it one of my strenght. The weakness I'm going to work for is (Can tell others the ways of how I like to learn and what suits me best).
Three things to solve this problem:
- Be more courageous on telling people what I want to learn.
- Finding the best way of learning.
- Finding my passion of how I learn.
