Answering the questions:

Why did this young mom migrate to Newzealand and how?

Her life in the Philippines was harsh. She was born in a poor family, although being born in a poor family didn’t stop her from being able to migrate to Newzealand. Many people might think she left the country because of the minor places, poverty, crimes and corrupt government. In my opinion she left the country to have the opportunity to restart a new life and give her children the opportunities she didn’t have while she was young.

How can such a poor person be able to go to another country? She worked really hard knowing that she has a son to feed. Being hungry was bearable to her but seeing her son wanting food was unbearable. After a few days she got herself a job to maintain their lifestyle. After many thoughts she came back to school. Even if it was for a short amount of time it was enough for her to get into a better job. One day her work meets applied to get a visa stamp and she was the only one who got confirmed. It started as a joke but she went after cheerful cheers. She flew to Newzealand and saw the country’s beautiful aspects. She knew she wanted to stay but she had to get a working visa. After 5 years of working in the Philippines she finally got her working visa.
