Ch 5:  

1. What does Corrie’s choice in career say about her character? Pg 46 The choice of her future sighting of her own wanting job was telling the readers that she was ambitious, traveler, and quite caring.

Ch 6: 

2. What is the first sign that something is wrong at Ellie’s house? Pg 55 The dogs didn’t bark when the sound of the land rover was nearing the house.
3. Do you think the way the teenagers reacted to the realisation that Australia may have been invaded or at war was realistic? Why/why not No, many teenagers would cry and breakdown after seeing that their dog is dead and realising the death of their parents would be more devastated.
4. What possible reasons exist that could spark war or invasion of Australia? - Land, Slavery, Food source, Material resources.
5. Which people in the group are starting to stand out as leaders, is this surprising? Why/why not? Lee, Robyn, Ellie. No, Ellie is a responsible person, Robyn is mature, and Lee was the smartest out of all of them.

Ch 7:

6. How is Ellie’s image of Kevin changing in chapter 7 from chapter 3? Her image of Kevin changed to a barve, kind, symphatetic man.
7. Why does the idea of a female soldier surprise Ellie? Pg 83 Not many female soldiers are acquired to a war
8. Ellie and Kevin’s quick-thinking allowed them to turn a ride-on lawnmower

        into a bomb. Was this moral behaviour? Did they do the right thing, or 

        should they have surrendered themselves? THey did the right thing because the soldiers came in with shots and who would know what will the invaders will do to them.
