What is the hottest and coldest place on earth?  To find more information read the text below. 

Have you ever wondered about the differences and the comparison of the most extreme climates? From coldest to hottest, these two are the utmost opposite of each other. The hottest place on earth is the Death Valley or some might call it Hell. On the other side of this continuum is the coldest place on earth which is Vostok station.  

Hottest place on earth “Death Valley”. What does it look like? 

This place can be found in California, USA. Death Valley can be described in many ways. For instance, the Death Valley is surrounded by hills. Hills are one of the attractions of tourists around. One of the attractions is its driest dirt. Many tumbleweeds run around the area making the place more scenic. There are a small number of people living in this area. The hottest temperature is recorded here which is 134 degrees Fahrenheit. The reason they’re living there is they have work or just visiting. Many of the work you can get in this area are housekeeping, cleaning the national park, keeping the people safe and many other jobs that involve the hills. 

Hottest place on Earth “Death Valley”. Is there life in such a place?

Animal	Adaptation
Kit fox	Kitfox are able to survive without water. They can get water from their prey. They also have pads that are very hairy to protect them from the heat of the ground. The pads can be traction on sand.
Death Valley pupfish	These fish are so adapted to warm water. They burrow themselves in the mud when water becomes cold. Death Valley pupfish can survive a water that is 2 or 3 times saltier than sea salt.
Devils Hole pupfish	This fish is a picky environmental habitat. They are endangered… These fish need 90-degree water with a low oxygen and a shallow ledge on which to spawn.

Coldest place on Earth  “Vostok Station”. What does it look like?

Vostok station is one of a kind. It has many reasons why it is called the coldest place on earth.  This place can be found in Antarctica. Interestingly, people don’t live here for no reason. People who live in Vostok station live there indefinitely. Meaning, they live there for work purposes or scientific research. In this place, you can find that many carbon dioxide can be frozen which turns to Dry Ice. This place is covered with piles of snow. If you see a tree, consider yourself lucky because trees are rare to find in this place. 

Animal	Adaptation
Penguin	Penguins keep their body in a high temperature to keep warm in cold climates. They also have a thick blubber under their skin to keep them even warmer. They also have the mind to cooperate by huddling together to keep each other warm.
Seals	Their strong, loseley, interlocked vertebrates make them strong and flexible enough  to navigate through the ice. Like penguins, they also have a thick blubber to keep them warm.
Polar Bears	Many antarctic animals have thick blubber to keep them warm. However, not only polar bears have thick blubbers they also have thick fur to keep them warm.

Similarities and differences.

These two temperate climates are the utmost opposite of each other. However, they also have similarities. Similarities - These two places have extreme temperatures. They have animals living in their location. Humans work in the area. Differences - They are opposite of each other. Human’s work differently when living in both areas. Animals have different adaptations on which place they are in. Therefore, even though both places are opposite of each other, they can still have similarities.

Creative Writing Matrix - My remoted controlled Life -

Task:

• On your way to school last week you found a strange remote lying in the gutter. 
• Describe the remote, how it looks, feels, weighs etc.
• While bored in class one day you joked with a friend, pressing the mute button as you aimed it at the teacher. To your surprise the teacher suddenly went silent. 
• Write a story about your new found power and how it has changed your life… for better or worse!

As I was walking towards my home. A sudden feeling started. The next thing I knew I fell into a gutter. “YUCK!!” I shouted, my mind was filled with getting out of the gutter but as I looked down I saw a shining looking item. It was a golden remote, I picked it out and ran as quickly as I could. Finally, I arrived at home. My mum asked why I was dirty and stinky. I told her the reason, however, I kept the golden remote as a secret so I can use it.  

The weekends pass by minutes. I was getting ready for school, excitement filled my head to show my friends what I found. While I was walking towards my school I started to see a familiar face. It was one of my friends. I hurried over to talk to him. Without even realising, we arrived at school. The bell started to ring, we quickly ran to our lockers and went to our classroom. Our first period was History, I wished I had the power to mute the teacher. Me and my friend had an Idea to get rid of our boredom. We unknowingly muted the teacher. The whole class had strange looks on their faces. We all thought the teacher was pranking us but after a while we realised she wasn’t. Me and my friend were the only ones that knew what was going on. 

Future self

“That was the beginning of my world domination” This golden remote can change the world. On that day I decided to make everyone pause and do whatever I wanted. That was when I made my biggest mistake. Time itself was destroyed, the coexisting realities disappeared. The whole universe went all dark.

Creative Writing Matrix - The sound of Silence -

Today for Matrix, I have chosen the topic called 'The sound of Silence"
What to do:

Results:

It was the time for the examination. Stood quietly in the hallway as I wait. I knew that my room was messy and forgotten that today was inspection day. I never made a mistake that was this bad. As soon as the inspector came into the room, he shouted “Ahhh”. That was when I realised that I really messed up. In the first glimpse of the room I saw the inspector slip on some cans that were on the floor. He got up quickly and looked around the room. He looked into my soul with an annoying glare. He pointed out towards the hallway. I followed his order. He made me stand in the hallway, telling me my mistakes. I wanted to shout my excuses but couldn’t. As I smelled the air of madness he started to tell me what kind of punishments I would get. At that time I tasted one of his wraths. My brain kept telling me to stay quiet, but my heart wanted me to shout. I never understood which one I needed to follow. 

SDL Reflection/Goal (Week 9)

This week I am trying to achieve the goal: 

Can tell others the way how I like to learn and what suits me best.

Three ways to improve:

- Having more courage

- Having more confidence

- Getting rid of social anxiety.

Last week I've improved my goal: Knowing what skills I need to 

develop on. By using aspects such as making mistakes, knowing 

my wekneses and asking people what I did wrong.

Korfball

Last week we studied the sport called Korfball. Korfball has many aspects.

- Teamwork

- Tactics

- Shooting style

I liked Korfball even it was the first time I played it. It can have similar rules to netball and basketball.

Korfball can make people improve their physical environtment and shooting, eye coordinator and many other things. Our team had a team of sporty people so it wasn't fair to the other team. We were working well because we had cooporation.

Improvement:

- Even up the team.

- Call out the out's and contacts.

- Knowing the rules.

Workshop - (Gamplots) Researching Genre

This week I decided to join the game plots people. This session of game plot will be including a research. We are listing our top 8 favourite videogames and picking 3 games out of them and answering the following questions.

What is the 5 points of the storyline?

What do you like about the game?

What would you improve if you were the developer?

Mobile legends, God of war, Fortnite, Black ops, The last of us, The legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Assassin creed.  

Black ops - You start off in the middle of a war, There is a terrorist you have to try stop him for taking over the world, You start of in a chamber and it is starting to burn you and you die and then you become a new person and find your friend that the terrorist has taken from your army. Liking of the game - The storyline is really good. Improvements I would make - A smaller campaign, Picking our own characters, more path to pick. 

Pokemon - In the beginning, you pick a character, either it's a girl or a boy. You spawn in a lab picking your first magical creature called Pokemons. There are different types of pokemon. In the lab, you can pick between 3 pokemons. Bulbassor ( a grass/swamp ) Charmander (a fire type ). Squirtle (a water type ). YOu train them and they can evolve. The goal in this game is to earn badges and be the best trainer there is. Liking of the game - You can get as many pokemons as you like. The thing that I want to change - Battling an NPC before getting into a new place.

Mobile legends - Each hero has a story behind them. Completing each achievement you gain a specific award that will gain you the hero’s statue. In the game you enter a lobby and you will play with 9 players for every game. 4 is in your team and the other 5 is your opponent. Your goal is to destroy the enemy’s base and complete some achievement along the way.  Liking of the game - You can pick out a hero for your own game style, the story behind each hero connects with the other heroes in the game. The thing that I want to change - The currency of buying the heroes/items is unfair.

Math _ finding the patterns

This week we are trying to find repeating patterns throught many problems. For instance we went outside and found many patterns. Today we made Hexahexa-flexagon and it has many patterns.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre

This type of musical genre mixes with a lot of music, songs, spoken words and dances.
Putting this all together they always tell a story.
Most musical genre is based on famous stories like Romeo and
Juliet or the Phantom of the Opera.

Three main parts of musical theatre:
- The music
- The lyrics inside of it.
- Book,meaning the story and the spoken words.

Improved game review.

I love this video game. You can join different types of games. It only contains a small amount of violence. In this game you can use rockets, bombs, paintball, guns, bouncy balls, slingshots, and many other things. This game does not involve gory. Your kids can learn about scripting, which is an essential when it comes to video game designing. Parents, they have censored many words that might have an effect on your child’s life. I've run into some people who have the tongue of a sailor meaning a lot of bad words. However, they can  get banned and will never be able to go back on ROBLOX. You can buy many things in the catalog to suit your character. If you’re worrying about money, fear not! It will not cost money, players can earn ingame currency to buy things in the catalog. If you are wanting to be a developer. For example, in the game there are something called decals. Decals can be used for painting many things. This game does not need a lot of mb to download. Administrators are always standing by to make sure your child is safe, like if someone posted a decal of freddy krueger and admin would check the picture and deny it to be uploaded on ROBLOX. So you don't need to worry about anything image wise. There is a 1 in a thousand chance that you will find a game where a player uses inappropriate words. If a player causes some trouble there is a system called report. You can click the report button (you should  write a reason behind this report) and eventually an administrator will check it. The word ‘noob’ is common in most games, it is not something bad. If you did something stupid people would call you a noob. This just means you are new to the game. If you are wanting more information there is a forum for this game. Users get a response almost immediately.

Game review

Text Paragrapgh Challenge

As I walked towards the cafe I saw a young male teenager playing a guitar. He started playing songs that many people liked. A group of people started to form a crowd around the guitarist. Overpowered by my hunger, I went inside the cafe and started to order. My big stomach started to bulge with hunger and filling my mind to order a croissant. A croissant with coffee was ordered. I sat on a table that was next to the window. While I was eating, a sudden horn interrupted my meal. A speeding car was going towards the cafe. I was panicking but suddenly another person drove their car in front of the cafe and protected many people. 

SDL Refelection/Goal (Weak 8)

This week I am trying to improve one goal except for improving better at 3 goals in one week.
This week's goal is knowing what skills I need to develope on.

10WD Workshop - Picking my path

This week we are starting the Workshops.
Workshop: There are three topics you can pick: Mythology, Game plots, Horror. For the rest of the term
The path that I have chosen is studying Mythology.
Mythology: It is a myth, it could also be a culture.
We had to pick one Mythology around the world. I have picked Christianity.

Christianity

•  God created life
• The 12 commandments
• Descendants of the dead, Hell or Heaven.
• Holiness of going to a church
• The day of judgement.

Creating characters

Domains:

Two gods depart from heaven and they get a specific role. One god is incharge of the living and one is incharge with the dead.

Appearances:

1 god - fiery hair, gray skin, gloomy eyes and shoulders skulls. Dark and burning clothes.

1 god - Winged, light coloured skin, see through scarf. White clothes with a golden wing necklace. 

Since both gods are immortal. They would look the same as ever, their appearance will stay as an adult forever. That is if their own crystals are damaged they would be damage as well.

The Brothers of Wild West

It was a blazing hot day at the old Wild west. It was the day when two brothers were born
at a rusty old wooden house named John and Mateo. Before they were born their parents
had problems with each other. Their parents fought in a conversation and had an
outcome of taking one child each.  The mother decided to take Mateo. Eventually
Mateo became one of the head sheriffs of the wild west. Then the father decided to take
John and made him one of the most wanted criminals.

John is a leader of a gang called Raffaello. His intelligent mind gives him the plans to
escape without getting caught. He also has a mind of greed that thinks of what bank he
should rob next. Meanwhile, Mateo has a beautiful and loving girlfriend named Emma.
Mateo is a great man who helps everyone in the town. He is passionate, helpful and strong.
He has the mind of always being ready when bad times come.

One day the bank’s alarm suddenly went off. Mateo and his fellow sheriffs heard the
ringing of the alarm and started to run towards their  horses. When they arrived, they
saw the famous Rafaello gang. A sudden gun fight started! While the battle occurs, the
two brothers meet. They stopped and looked at each other as if they were looking at a
mirror.

John knew they were losing, he quickly sent away the signal for plan B.
He grabbed the bag of money and with the horse they ran away. The sheriffs
tried to catch them but they failed because of their smoke grenades. 

The mind of Mateo filled with confusion, he hurriedly went home and asked
his mother… “Do I have… a brother?” His mom gasped and dropped the
vase she was holding. She shouted, “why are you asking this question?”
Mateo answers, “by your tone of voice, what I said is true.” They argued all
night long until her mother gave up on making him believe he doesn’t have a
brother.

 In the next morning, he packed his bags and told Emma he was about to go
on a journey to find his brother and father. That day his search began.

a rusty old wooden house named John and Mateo. Their parents divorce when after they
just got born and there parents decided to take one child each. Mateo’s mother took him
and Mateo became one of the head sheriff of wild west, but John’s father took him and
became one of the most wanted criminals.

John has a gang to help him with his crime, the gang is called Raffaello, his the leader
of the gang and John always planning What he should rob next. Mateo has a beautiful and
a loving girlfriend named Emma, Mateo always exercise so he can be strong and ready
when something bad happens.

One day the bank alarm was ringing so loudly that almost all the sheriff in the town
heard it. It was John and his gang who set off the alarm. When Mateo heard the alarm he
run as fast as he could to go to the bank to catch the criminal. He doesn't know it was his
brother who set off the alarm and he doesn't know that he has a brother either. At the middle
of the battlefield the two brothers look at each other like there are looking to a mirror.

Suddenly John called his gang, grabbed the money and quickly ride in their hidden horses
to go to their hidden hideout. All the sheriff in the battle tried to catch them but it was too
late. As soon as Mateo got home he asked her mother “Do I have a brother?” when his
mother heard that, she cried and she said “yes” to Mateo. After that day as soon Mateo
wake up he rapidly tried to find his brother and he even searched the entire village but
he couldn’t find his brother.

There’s one way to solve this problem he has to find his dad and brother.
(he didn’t know it at the first time). So Mateo left a letter to his mother and his girlfriend
(Emma) about his leaving the village and trying to find his brother.
There Mateo goes to his journey to find his father and brother.

Alfred Lionel Rose

He is best known as Lionel Rose, he’s one of the famous veterinarians of the
Australian army in World War l & ll. He was the veterinarian of Northern
territory of Asia and he was curing the cattle disease of many people. Lionel
Rose was born in Strathfield, New South Wales. The fifth child of the
“Rose family”. His first education started at Sydney grammar school and
after that he went to military school. After studying there for a while, he
managed to be enlisted in the First Australian Imperial Force in Sydney. In
1961 he was promoted to a sergeant. He boarded a ship on Sydney on the
30th of september carrying the 117th Howitzer Battery. He then served
France and was wounded by frags. Over time the fragments of an exploded
grenade made it to the back of his neck. After that, he was discharged from
the AIF in april 1920. Coming back from his break he was then assigned to go
to the Northern territory of Asia. The cattle agreement between Britain and
Australia did not meet the quality and weight requirements. Soon, Australia
made requested shipments of cattles to Hong Kong, Singapore, and Manila.
Doctors noticed strange actions from the cows, they soon realised they were
diseased. After several failed experiments, Lionel Rose found a cure to this
problem.
